Setting Teens on the Path to Better Oral Health
Orthodontic assessment and treatment are vital to ensuring your teenager's teeth and jaws are developing well so they can enter adulthood with a straight, healthy smile.
While oral development begins to slow down as kids enter their teens, the face and jaw are still growing. During this time, our orthodontist has the chance to help guide the development of your teens' teeth and jaws so that they continue to grow as they should.
Woodstock Orthodontics offers personalized treatment plans with either braces or clear aligners to address the unique needs of each of our teenage patients. We do this either as stand-alone treatment or as a follow up to Phase 1 orthodontics.
Whether your teen is looking to improve their smile, the function of their jaw, or a little bit of both, we're here to help.
Flexible In-House Payment Plans
At Woodstock Orthodontics, we believe that finances should never be a barrier to essential health care. To help our patients manage the cost of orthodontic treatment, we offer flexible payment plans with zero percent interest.
Phase 2 Orthodontics for Teens
Ages 13 - 18
Phase 1 early orthodontic intervention is a foundational step in building a better smile. That said, even if your teen missed out on Phase 1 treatment, they can still benefit from Phase 2.
For kids under 12 years of age, orthodontic concerns can be monitored, and targeted treatments such as palatal expanders or braces can be used to address specific issues and minimize the need for more invasive treatments in the future.
The real work, however, begins after the adult teeth have fully come through. Phase 2 treatment is designed to guide the permanent teeth into their proper positions so that they look good and function properly.
For our teenage patients, we offer treatment with Damon™ self-ligating braces or clear aligners to straighten teeth and correct bite misalignments. If your teen has more severe jaw alignment issues, we offer surgical orthodontics.
Based on their orthodontic issue, personality, and lifestyle, we can help you and your teen determine which treatment option is best for them.
Orthodontic Treatment Options for Teens
We offer both clear aligners and braces for our teenage patients.
