Schedule Your First Appointment
Book a consultation with our team to get started. We can take a look at the alignment of your teeth and jaw and discuss your goals with you. From there, we'll develop a plan for your orthodontic treatment.
Fill Out the New Patient Form
Once you've got your consultation booked, you'll need to fill out our Dental & Medical Health History Form. We invite you to fill out the form online in advance of your first appointment.
The Consultation Process
The initial consultation process usually takes about an hour to complete, and will be led by one of our treatment coordinators. We look forward to meeting you!
Arrive & Get Settled
Please plan to arrive at your appointment about 10 minutes before it's scheduled to begin so that you can settle in and fill out any additional paperwork. When you get here, you will be greeted by a member of our reception team.
Feel free to relax in our reception area while you wait for your appointment to begin.
When it's time for your appointment to begin, a member of our team will show you to a private consultation room, where you will wait for your orthodontist.
Assessment & Diagnostic Imaging
Your orthodontist will begin the consultation by chatting with you about your orthodontic concerns and smile goals. They will also take some 'Before' treatment photos of your smile so that you can look back on where you started throughout treatment.
Next, they will conduct a thorough exam. This will include some imaging, such as X-rays and scans, so that your orthodontist can have a full picture of your oral health, both above and below the gumline.
They will also use our 3shape TRIOS™ Intraoral Scanner to take a digital impression of your mouth that will be used to craft your orthodontic appliance.
The scan will also be used to show you the projected end result of your treatment and how your teeth will shift along the way.
Customized Treatment Plan
At this point in the process, you'll meet with our treatment coordinator to discuss your health history (if needed) and review the imaging, outlining indications for orthodontic treatment.
Based on the exam and the imaging results, our orthodontist will diagnose your condition and develop a customized treatment plan to resolve it and meet your goals.
Our treatment coordinator and orthodontist will review this plan and go over the finer points with you.
This plan will include treatment recommendations, a projected timeline for treatment completion, and an appointment schedule.
We'll also discuss a payment game plan for your treatment. This will include your payment plan and any insurance coverage you may have.
Next Steps
At the end of your appointment, we will discuss the immediate next steps with you to get your treatment plan rolling. We will also schedule your next appointment(s).
